Sunday, Sunday..

...clean something new day. LOL. I think this will be my new Sunday tradition (not that I had an old Sunday tradition). Pick something that needs cleaning but never seems to get done. Today, the pantry. Now, for the life of me, I do not know how a pantry can become a mess, but in my hutch it does. Instead of going over my grocery budget this week, I decided to look for something to go with my roasted chicken tonight... this is how it all started. About 1 hour later, it was cleaned out, washed down and re-arranged to my heart's desire.. then the bunny-ettes and Mr Rabbit were threated with harsh punishment if it was messed up again. We will see how long it lasts, but I know the punk bunny-ettes are over joyed their snacks and such are all in one spot. I'm over joyed to know I don't need to buy breakfast cereal (cold or hot) for a long time.. I hit the jackpot hidden behind the flour and sugar.
Next week, I think I will hit the laundry room/closet. It's a mess, and I never think of cleaning it until Monday (laundry day) comes around. The next Sunday will be hall closets... hmm, I better watch out or Mr Rabbit will expect this every day, lol.
It's too quiet around here, I better go find out what is going on.

::Whew::: What a Hare Raising Week

The punk-bunnyettes went back to school on Monday. And after two weeks off, it takes an act of God to get them up, ready and out the door on time. Good thing God was on my side all week. All punk got to class without one tardy, homework was done (without having to pull teeth) and everyone is back to normal this weekend. Now to you understand why I believe Christmas break should be outlawed?!?!
Mr. Rabbit had part of the week off. Why? Good question, I have learned not to question the powers that be at the local police department. They should have known I need 'Me' time all week to recover from the holidays.. aka.. long bubble bath and a stiff drink.. plus house work gallore to catch up on.
Why do I go all out to decorate for the holidays (Halloween through New Years)? I know I will be complaining and whining about the clean up for weeks to come. And then Easter will come around and I will do it again. LOL, this bunny never learns
I am starting a sub-journal to post my recipes, plus recipes I have tried and liked. I will post a link as soon as I get it started.

Good Morning one and all. I hope your New Year's Eve was a safe and happy one! I will type quietly incase any of you have a hangover. I don't. Too bad, that could explain a lot, lol. I stayed home and was a good bunny this year. Mr. Rabbit had to work and keep our city and streets safe from evil last night, plus over time, so he is now sleeping the day away (but I 'm sure he will be up in time to watch a bowl game or two.

Last night was a quiet one here at the hutch. The punk Bunny-ettes were all spending the night else where. This was a big change usually the Bunny-ettes are all here along with a friend or two and we have a fun time. Mr. Rabbit always has to work NYE, so it's usually just us. Anyway, this year Bunny-ette #1 spent the night with his best bud. Bunny-ette #2 also spent the night with her friends (it was an all girl party blast from what I heard last night lol) and Bunny-ette #3 spent the night with her 'bestest friend in the whole world' and rang in the New Year there (actually, talking with BFWW's Mom, the girls didn't make it to 10:30 pm, lol). All are still away, and I am relaxing with my coffee, debating if a Starbuck's run might be needed... a peppermint white chocolate mocha is calling my name.

After my Starbuck's run what are my plans for today? Playing with my DS.. hee hee.. I have an addition and it's name is Rayman Raving Rabbids. I know, I know, the more seasoned DS players are rolling their eyes at my game of choice , but , hey, I'm new and it's fun. Plus I'm 50% done! Not bad for an 40-something Bunny. lol Oh and clean, well maybe clean, after all it is a holiday and, well, I don't do holiday cleaning, but you never know.
